From Scan To Shipped
Every part follows the same eight steps before it reaches a customer, whether it's the first part on a new model or the fiftieth unit of one already in production.
3D Scanning
The OEM part is 3D scanned to capture its exact factory geometry, so the finished carbon piece holds true 1:1 fitment. This step is what lets every RC Composite part bolt straight onto the bike it was designed for, without trimming, forcing, or guesswork.
R&D & Aero Testing
On models and parts where aerodynamics matter, we run additional R&D and aero testing before the design moves forward. This step exists specifically for parts like the front winglets, where the shape itself is part of the product, not just the material.
3D Rendering
The scanned geometry becomes a full 3D render, refined for fitment and detail before it becomes a physical part. Every surface, mounting point, and clearance is checked digitally first, before any material is cut or molded.
Mold Creation
A mold is built from the finalized render -- the tooling every unit of that part is produced from. The mold is what keeps every unit consistent, from the first part off the line to the fiftieth.
Testing & Fitment Confirmation
Early production units are test-fitted to confirm the part matches the bike exactly, before full production begins. If something doesn't sit right, it goes back to the design stage rather than shipping as-is.
Final Carbon Layup
The final carbon fiber version is produced to the confirmed mold and specification. This is the step where the part gets its finished weave, weight, and structural layup.
Inspection
Every individual part is inspected by hand for fitment accuracy, finish quality, and any imperfections before it's approved to ship. A part that doesn't pass inspection doesn't go out -- there's no exception made to hit a shipping date.
Packaging & Shipping
Approved parts are carefully packaged and sent out. Packaging is built around protecting a carbon part in transit, not just moving a box.
